Precision Goalkeeping has launched a brand new range of goalkeeper gloves in association with Leeds United star Kasper Schmeichel.

The son of former Manchester United legend, Peter Schmeichel, has signed an ambassadorial agreement with Precision Goalkeeping which will include the release of the “Schmeichel” range.

The former Danish under 21 International, who signed for Leeds United this summer following spells with Manchester City and Notts County, has been working closely with the brand to design and develop the new range.

Schmeichel, 23, said; “I am delighted to have signed a partnership with Precision Goalkeeping.

“I had a number of other options but after testing the gloves I was overwhelmed by the quality and performance of the gloves, particularly the grip.

“The opportunity to design and develop my own gloves was something I couldn’t turn down and I can’t wait to see them on the shelves.

“As a goalkeeper it is vitally important that you trust the gloves you are wearing and I couldn’t be happier with them.”

Schmeichel will be wearing a negative cut glove made from supersoft latex, adorned with the Danish flag and coloured white and gold.

Part of Britain’s fastest growing sports brand – Precision Training – the Precision Goalkeeping range was released to market in May 2010.
